The short version
Bold Edit doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing the site stores in your browser is your light or dark mode choice.
What we store
Theme preference (stored as "theme" in your browser's local storage): remembers whether you picked light or dark mode. It's strictly necessary for that feature, never leaves your device and stays until you clear your browser data.
If this changes
If we add analytics or embedded content that sets cookies, we'll list them here by purpose and ask for your consent first where the law requires it. [Update this page whenever analytics, embeds or a cookie banner are added.]
Managing your choices
You can clear or block stored data in your browser settings at any time. The site works without it; it will simply open in light mode.
