Bold Edit

The edit for creators building a business

About Bold Edit

Short, useful lists for creators who want their work to pay.

The edit, not the noise

Most business advice for creators is long, loud and written for someone else. Bold Edit is the opposite: one clear list a week, written by people who run small creative businesses themselves.

We cover the unglamorous parts that decide whether creative work pays: pricing, money habits, sales pages, products, audience and the life that has to fit around all of it. Every list is short enough to read with a coffee and specific enough to act on that week.

There are no sponsored lists, a commission never decides what makes the cut, and there’s no hustle. Just the edit.

How a list gets made

  1. Start with a real question

Every list begins with something a reader asked, or something we got wrong in our own businesses.

  2. Keep only what works

We test ideas before we write them up. If we wouldn't do it ourselves, it doesn't make the list.

  3. Cut it down

A good list is short. Each point gets a clear heading and a few sentences you can act on this week.

  4. Send it on Tuesday

One list, every Tuesday, in your inbox and on the site. No filler issues.
